Data Source: Engineering Case Library of Zhongchun Group Nanchang-Ganzhou High-speed Railway starts from Nanchang in the north and ends at Ganzhou in the south, with a total length of approximately 416 km and a designed speed of 350 km/h. It serves as a vital segment of the Beijing-Hong Kong (Taiwan) corridor within China’s national high-speed railway network, acting as the core north-south passenger dedicated line across Jiangxi Province. Extending from Nanchang Railway Hub, the route traverses Ganfu Plain and Jitai Basin, crossing the Ganjiang River multiple times. Along the line lie hills, river valleys, soft soil subgrades, river-crossing extra-large bridges and mountain tunnels, bringing diversified construction challenges. The whole line opened to traffic in December 2019, enabling all cities in Jiangxi to be connected by high-speed trains. It forms a 2-hour high-speed rail transport circle centered on Nanchang and builds a fast passage linking Poyang Lake urban agglomeration with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
