Architectural glass is an indispensable key material in modern construction. It
integrates daylighting, aesthetics, safety, heat insulation and energy saving, and is
widely used in commercial buildings, office buildings, residences, hotels, airports,
shopping malls, doors, windows, curtain walls and interior decoration fields.
Undertaken by Shanghai Construction Group, this project locates in the starting zone of Jiulonghu New Town, Nanchang. It is a pioneering infrastructure project for new urban development on the west bank of Ganjiang River. Lot A covers an area of around 6 square kilometers, with 5 urban arterial & secondary roads newly built: Guoti Avenue, Chengyun Avenue, Xuefu South Avenue, Huanhu Road and Xinlonggang Avenue. The total length of roads reaches approximately 12 km. Works include urban trunk roads, secondary roads, medium & small river-crossing bridges, rainwater & sewage box culverts and pipelines, subgrade & pavement, road lighting, traffic safety facilities and integrated utility pipelines.
As the first batch of backbone road network in Jiulonghu New Town, the project establishes the fundamental transport framework for the new district. It delivers complete municipal support for residential, commercial and cultural land development, forms a vital corridor connecting Honggutan Central District to the south, and supports Nanchang’s urban expansion strategy across Ganjiang River to the west.
Zhongchun Group provided full-cycle centralized procurement and supply of municipal infrastructure materials for Lot A. Supplied products include asphalt mixture, road curbs, bridge guardrails, bridge bearings, precast concrete components, water supply & drainage pipes, subgrade stabilization materials, street lighting lamps and traffic signboards. Multiple roads were constructed simultaneously during this large-scale new town development. We adopted zone-based and route-based continuous delivery schedules to support parallel construction of roads, bridges and pipeline networks.
