Infrastructure Material Supply Project for Anshun-Liupanshui High-speed Railway, Guizhou

The Anshun-Liupanshui High-speed Railway is located in Anshun and Liupanshui in western Guizhou Province. It is Guizhou’s first intercity high-speed railway with a design speed of 250 km/h, classified as Class I national double-track passenger dedicated line. The total line length is approximately 125 km with 8 stations along the route. Constructed in the Karst plateau mountainous area with complicated geological conditions, the railway includes 81 bridges and 62 tunnels, with a bridge-tunnel ratio up to 74.2%, bringing huge challenges to construction. Construction started at the end of 2015, and the railway officially opened to traffic in July 2020. The fastest travel time between Guiyang and Liupanshui was shortened to 1 hour and 9 minutes, enabling Liupanshui to fully connect to the national high-speed rail network.

Zhongchun Group undertook centralized procurement and supply of supporting rail transit materials for this project. Supplied products include railway ballast, rail fasteners, platform steel structural components, electrified catenary hardware, bridge embedded parts, tunnel protection materials and other special materials suitable for highland mountain railways.
